Digital music bingo: play on your phone
- One QR code for everyone
- A unique card per player
- 1–9 cards free
How do you play music bingo digitally? You make your cards from your own Spotify playlist and choose “Digital (phone)”. You get one QR code. Every player scans it and gets a random card of their own on their phone. They mark squares with a tap; nothing needs printing.
From playlist to QR code
Make your cards
Paste your Spotify playlist link, pick a theme and a 4×4 or 5×5 grid, and set the choice to “Digital (phone)”. The example shows the card the way a player sees it on a phone.
Show the QR code
You get one QR code. Put it up large on a TV or projector, or share the link in the group chat. Whoever scans gets a card of their own at once. You can see how many cards have been handed out.
Play the music
Put your playlist on shuffle. Players tap a square to mark it and tap again to undo a mistake. Whoever calls bingo gives their card number and you check it against the song checklist.
1 to 9 cards are free, with no account or email address. For bigger groups you pick a pack; you see the price before you pay.
When to choose digital
Playing digitally helps when printing is not possible or too much work. The cards are the same unique cards as on paper.
- No printer nearby, or a last-minute idea
- Large groups: nobody has to cut cards or hand out pens
- Players in different places, for example on a video call: just share the link
- Several rounds: start the game again and everyone scans for a new card
- Prefer paper as well? Make the same list as a PDF to print
Tips for the host
- Put the QR code up large on a screen, so everyone can scan it from their seat.
- Ask players to keep the card open in the same browser. The card and the marks stay on the phone.
- Check a bingo with the card number and the song checklist in the host guide.
- Order as many cards as there are players. Opening the link in a second browser takes a second card.
