Printing music bingo cards

  • A4 PDF at actual size
  • 1 or 2 cards per A4
  • Low-ink theme

How do you print music bingo cards? You download your cards as an A4 PDF and print it at actual size (100%) on ordinary printer paper. Choose beforehand whether you want one or two cards per sheet. Every card in the PDF is unique; you make and print 9 cards for free.

From PDF to paper

  1. Choose the layout

In the generator you choose one card per A4 (large and easy to read) or two per A4 (half the paper). The preview shows the sheet as it will come out of the printer.

  2. Print at 100%

Open the PDF and print on A4 at 100% scale or “actual size”. Do not choose “fit to page”: the card comes out smaller.

  3. Cut and hand out

With two cards per sheet, cut the sheet in half. Print the host sheet once; it has the checklist and the QR code.

1 to 9 cards are free, with no account or email address. For bigger groups you pick a pack; you see the price before you pay.

Paper, ink and settings

You do not need a special printer. With these choices the cards are easy to read without using much ink.

  • Ordinary 80 gsm A4 printer paper works; 120 to 160 gsm feels sturdier
  • The Low-ink theme uses lines instead of coloured areas
  • Switch off “Print color fills” to print any theme with less ink
  • Black and white always works: the text stays black on white
  • With a 6×6 or 7×7 grid, choose one card per A4 so the text stays readable

Common printing mistakes

  • Leaving “fit to page” on: the card comes out smaller than intended.
  • Copying one card for all players: then everyone has bingo at once. Print the whole PDF; every card is different.
  • Printing everything in one go: make one test print first.
  • Printing double-sided: you end up with cards on the back that you cannot hand out separately.

Yes. The PDF is an ordinary A4 file; take it along or send it over and ask for prints at actual size.

How many sheets do I need?

One sheet per card at one per A4, and half that at two per A4. The generator shows the number of A4 pages before you download.
